The Columbus, OH Annual Meeting and Convention was a perfect event! The host committee, led by Dorothy Driskell and David Hammond had everything worked out to the very last detail in the fine Downtown Crowne Plaza Hotel. The perfect German dinner, complete with accordion player, the wonderful zoo animals available to pet and/or hold (the baby kangaroo was adorable!) during the one evening social hour, the beautiful evening and delicious food at the Scioto Golf and Country Club, the good spirits of the hosts-all went together to make a wonderful experience for all.

The awards evening proved to be great as well. It is a terrific honor to emcee such an evening, and I was the fortunate person this year. The personal and club awards are as follows:
